Good is the enemy of great

Queentessentials - Women in the Spotlight

November 2011

Welcome to November's Queentessentials, and this month's edition is themed
Women in the Spotlight, inspired by my upcoming participation in the Women in Leadership forum later this month.

This month we are also proud to share a chat with Deborah Thomas in our Meet the Media segment.  There are now so many women in pivotal roles not just in the media and PR, but in business and in world affairs, including the three remarkable women who won the 2011 Nobel Peace Prize which was announced recently, including Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, President of Liberia, who shares her wisdom in our Grab from the Guru segment.

Can I encourage you to support and encourage the women in your life, and in your business, and do what you can to enable them to reach their full potential.

Happy Melbourne Cup Day to our Victorian readers, and my cup tips are Red Cadeaux (red is our signature colour) and Precedence.  Happy punting!

Yours in PR,

Sally Romano

In this compilation, Wendt gets under the skin of her subjects - including architect Frank Gehry, United Nations war crimes prosecutor Carla del Ponte, feminist Camille Paglia, and former U.S. deputy secretary of state Richard Armitage - to discover that which is genuine and authentic about each.
