Queentessentials - Going Global
October 2011
Welcome to the October edition of Queentessentials, designed around the theme of Going Global, in recognition of several major events taking place locally, of planetary proportions.
The first of these is TEDX Brisbane 2011, which I will attend on Saturday 15 October at the State Library of Queensland, with more tickets being released today! So in this edition we share yet another amazing presentation from the TED series, this time on the development of Google's NGram, a new global literary research tool.
Speaking of going global, we also witnessed last week the birth of Gruen Planet, the first television programme about our world of PR, so we caught up with its Producer, Jon Casimir, to discover what creating the show has taught him about the PR-sphere.
And in late breaking news we are excited to announce with our friends at The Growth Faculty a very exciting event taking place in December, Unwrapping Genius - The Global Leadership Forum featuring Martha Stewart, and many other world leading business icons.
As always, we love to hear from our readers, and to answer any questions you might have.
Yours in PR,
Sally Romano
