Award-Winning Bridal Expo Torpedoes Into Telstra Dome
Australia's most popular bridal expo will torpedo into Melbourne's Telstra Dome with a one-off Breast Cancer Foundation pink ribbon wedding dress.
Weighing in at 30kg, the pink ribbon wedding dress is ensconced with more than 2000 Breast Cancer gold pins and patrons have the opportunity to purchase a $5 pin from the dress at the expo.
The award-winning bridal expo, on Sunday 6th July, will showcase more than 200 exhibitors, three fashion parades, a wedding dress made from bamboo plant, together with the largest bridal vehicle display ever seen in Australia and 100 years of Bridal Gowns from 1870 to 1970, with brides having the opportunity to purchase the gown, complete with a history behind the dress.
The bridal expo will also be the launching pad for Australia's first 1800 BRIDAL, a free call service for Melbourne brides, enabling brides to be to quickly and efficiently locate their local wedding supplier at the touch of a key pad. This will be rolled out nationally in the coming months.
With more than 3500 people expected through the turnstiles, there will be thousands of dollars in prizes to be won, including a $4,500 honeymoon to Hawaii.
For the first time in Australia, soon-to-be-grooms will not be neglected during a bridal expo with a ‘Buck Boulevard' being set up featuring poker tables and an open bar. They will also have the opportunity to go on a ‘Back of House' tour which includes sitting in the coaches' box and the players' locker rooms.
Entry to the expo is $12.00, with a percentage of the proceeds being donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
